This was a collaboration with me and Michael Hathaway. We collaborate ideas and always come up with something great.

When I was working on the island of Sifnos in Greece, I met three Canadian girls. On their last night in town we decided to trade some clothing. I wasn't supposed to have guests staying in my room, and when my boss walked in and saw all the girls bags, he assumed I was letting them stay there. They were just hanging out while they waited for their boat, but I ended up getting fired for that and leaving the island early.

This was the dress I accumulated from that incident. I often wonder what would have happened if we didn't trade dresses and I stayed the rest of the month I was supposed to stay. I guess we will never know. But there's a reason for everything... so there is a reason for this dress.

I wanted to spin in it, and I had Michael shoot it until we got it right.
