John Toner. what a charmer. Girls love him, guys hate him. Smart and intriguing... he looks like an asshole in this picture, and turns out... he is. In the best way possible.

I met him working in a brunch restaurant. We had both started at new servers and one day after work it was raining, and I offered to give him a ride home. I still didn't know him very well, but I mentioned something about the broken record player in the trunk of my car and he offered to fix it. When I got out of the car to get it out of the trunk, I locked myself out with the car running. He invited me up to hang out until AAA came, and we had a beer. It took about an hour and a half, and that was enough time for him to grow on me.

He currently lives in a trailer park artist community in Brooklyn. This is one of my favorite pictures.
